What do you get when you combine a little modge podge, glitter, acrylic gloss, and an iPhone power cord? That’s right, a BEDAZZLED phone charger! This might not be for everyone but ever since my sister was a teeny, tiny tot she has had a love for all things sparkly and at 21 that same philosophy still rings true.
She saw this craft on Pinterest and of course wanted to try it. After a little trial and error I think we perfected how to make one of these things. Below are the directions. It’s pretty straightforward and when you’re done, you’ll have a super sparkly cord to show for it!
- Modge podge
- Paint brush
- Clear Acrylic Gloss
- Phone Charger
***Word of advice: be careful and do NOT get modge podge or acrylic gloss on the metal parts of your charger. If you do, charger may not work properly afterwards. (We ended up putting tape over these metal parts.) I speak from experience. ***
- First, paint one side of your charger with modge podge and then sprinkle glitter on surface. You will do this for every side of charger.
- Once dry, repeat. Paint modge on top of glittered surface and sprinkle on more glitter.
- Once dry, spray with clear acrylic gloss (acts as a sealant).
