Christmas Deco Mesh Wreaths

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas…. and I LOVE it! In fact, I love everything surrounding this holiday season!  It’s all just so magical. So what better way to start out this Christmas season than with not one but two Christmas-inspired deco mesh wreaths.

They were both so much fun to make and if you want to make one, check out my tutorial, here. Or, if you’re not much for crafting you can always purchase one from my etsy shop, here or simply contact me using the contact form button.

Jennifer johnson - Hey: how do you attach the striped ribbon on the christmas wreath with the green V? I have my pipe cleaners attached to crossbars and outer rings like you described in the fall wreath.
Also, where can I buy sparkly red and green letters? Looked at Michael’s but no luck.
I am making my first wreath for my wonderful mom!!! Love, love your examples!

The Sassy Momma - Hey Jen! I’m glad you liked the Christmas wreath :) To Attach the striped ribbon (and you should do this after you’ve attached the red and green deco mesh) you’re going to take your pipe cleaners (cut them in half) and then I like to pick a starting point on my wreath frame. You’ll want to secure the end of the striped ribbon at the starting point and then make “poufs” from there. Try to make sure they’re equally spaced and where ever you want a pouf then secure a pipe cleaner to the wreath frame.

For the letters- I actually made them :) Buy a wooden letter, use modge podge to paint on top then sprinkle with glitter. Once try, apply another coat of modge podge to the top and you’re good to go! I hope your mom likes it!

Debbie - Did you use a different technique for the red and white Christmas wreath or are your poofs closer together? Something looks different and I like the look of it so I wNted to ask as I am just starting to make this type of wreath. Thanks!
