Baths. I love them. Like I really, really do. In fact, now that I’m pregnant I have a whole new love for them. Especially since I’m still working out and afterwards a warm bath feels sooooo good! I also love when I have some aromatherapy bath salts or even some bubble bath on hand (Bath & Body Works are my fav) because the smell is heavenly and I can just float away. Even if it is for 10 minutes, that’s 10 minutes of “me” time. And who doesn’t love that?
I say all of this because as I was scouring Pinterest for holiday gift ideas I came across these cute little homemade bath salts. Needless to say, I had an “aha” moment. I thought these would be the perfect little gifts to make for friends.
All of the recipes are basically the same – all you need is some Epsom salt, a few drops of aromatic bath oils (I used Eucalyptus & Spearmint), & food coloring (if you’re using a clear glass jar). Mix, mix, mix & ta-da, you have fragrant bath salts!
I put my bath salts in red & green glass jars from Michaels, tied a red ribbon around the top, and used some holiday card stock for the gift tag.
Voila! A holiday treat that any bath connoisseur is sure to love!
