About Lindsey

 I am a Believer,

a wife and a new mother.

I’ve lived all over the country

but spent the bulk of my early years in the

Bay Area and Atlanta.

I graduated from

The University of Georgia

where I met the love of my life.

I moved to Dallas for my job.

He finished grad school in Georgia.

We spent 3 years long distance.

It wasn’t for the faint of heart

but our love endured.

June 10, 2011 we said

“I Do”.

We spent our first married

year in Dallas; it was our playground.

Texas stole our hearts.

He then accepted a job up north

and so we moved.

I had mixed emotions.

I quit my job and we

spent the summer of 2012

traveling through Europe.

It was pure bliss, memories

I will always cherish.

 Three quarters of the way

through our trip we

got a major surprise:

I was pregnant!

It shook our world.

Once the shock wore off,

we were overcome with joy.

My blog that I had started for traveling,

(betterbythebite.com) soon became

an outlet for all things mommy-to-be.

Here I am today.

A momma to one cute baby girl

who has the key to my heart.

I decided to not to go back

to Corporate America

and at times it’s been hard.

But, I’ve never looked back.

I wouldn’t trade staying at

home with her for anything

in the world. She’ll only be

little for so long.

I’ve embraced my newfound role

and am determined to take the stereotype

of Stay at Home Mom and transform

it into something sassy and modern.

Join me here, at

The Sassy Momma for all things

crafty, sweet, and mommy-ish.

After all, us mommas have to

stick together!
